Woman sets up water fountain in backyard to promote peaceful coexistence by showing the adorable ecosystem of animal friends she helped with one simple act

A ripple starts small, but never underestimate how much one small wave can affect a giant pond.

Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? It's a theory that basically says that one small change can have massive and unpredictable consequences on the future. We think that this is the best way we can describe good karma. To you, it seems like your good deed was a small one, like feeding the stray cat in the neighborhood. But, without your knowing, your feeding that stray cat could have given it the strength to sneak into the backyard of a family who was looking for a new pet. They adopted the cat, leading that kitty to have its life furrever changed. Maybe that caused their daughter to fall madly in love with cats, who will grow up to open her own cat sanctuary, which will save thousands of cats. All because you fed one stray kitty in need.

We like to think the woman in our post below had the same effect. She set up a water fountain in her backyard to provide clean water to all the wildlife that live in her area. She also set up a camera to prove that even animals can share a resource peacefully. From wild cats to coyotes, and birds to bunnies, she gave all these cute creatures a safe, reliable place to drink. Who knows what effects this tiny ripple had, but we're sure her good karma will come back to her eventually. We might never figure it out, but we can look through her candid camera pics of all the fuzzy friends who drank there, so enjoy!

As we push our homes further and further into the natural habitats of animals, it must get incredibly hard for the animals to find safe places to drink water or hunt. Imagine 100 homes, roads, and even a highway being built on top of your home. Streams and rivers are rerouted for urban planning, causing animals that can to flee. But not every animal can change its location so easily. Many animals, like foxes and raccoons, have had to learn to live in close proximity to humans. All of this is to say that a backyard water fountain might be more helpful than you think it is.

She must live in a dry climate, because we're surprised she didn't catch any frogs or other amphibians using her water fountain. If birds can bathe in it, it would make sense that other creatures would want to as well.
